Reverie takes a photo and finds one real song that feels like it. Just one, so you can actually sit with it.
Only real music
Every song on Reverie was written and recorded by people. Nothing here is generated. Plenty of apps will make you a fake song from a picture. This one does the opposite: it uses a bit of AI to point you toward music that humans made, including artists you might never have run into otherwise.

How it works
- 1It reads the mood of the photo. Not the objects in it, but the light, the time of day, and how busy or empty it feels.
- 2It digs through real music databases for songs with that mood, and skips the obvious hits on purpose so lesser-known tracks get a chance.
- 3It checks that every candidate is a real, playable song before anything gets chosen.
- 4It picks one. You get thirty seconds of it, a line or two about the song and who made it, and a link if you want the whole thing.
Your photo
The photo you upload is used to find the song and shown on the record label. It isn’t used to train anything and it isn’t sold.
There’s also a game
earshot is a daily game. You hear a song from somewhere in the world and guess which country it comes from. Each guess unlocks a bit more of the song and lights up the globe by how close you were.
